Problems with brakes...

My passenger side rear brake is squealing when applying the brakes. I replaced the brake pads which were very worn on that side and not the other. Has anyone ran into this problem? I was thinking it could be the caliper or the value the controls the pressure going to the caliper. Any help would be appericated!!

Thanks

Rule of thumb:

If you change the right side, change the left side "at the same time" or you will have issues around the corner and wasting money and time. Do you have lots of money and time to burn ?
Never change one tire either, change all ...............................You could be getting noise from the other side that you didn't change.....

Off my soap box.....

Rebutal..brakes

I agree and infact that is what I did, change both sides. The point I was trying to make is that the passenger side pad was worn down to almost nothing and the driver’s side was almost brand new. After changing both sides the noise is continuing from the same side when I am braking.

I doubt that you'll find equal wear on the "Left-rear" and "Right-rear" brake pads. I think this has a lot to do with the SH-AWD system. If it were a dedicated FWD then maybe you wouldn't find as much wear from rear-left to rear-right.
