oil leak

I have an 03 RL with 217k, what are the most common oil leak locations on the front side of the engine. I attached some pics.

Oil Leak

I am trying to chase down an oil leak myself. Do not know if you did but the black bracket holds the rack and pinion I removed it. After that I could see above and that's wherr I found the source. It looks like a weep hole and a bolt next to it. The point where the engine and transmission meet looks fine and so does the oil lines and clamps. I will try and attach pics later. I don't have a clue what this is right now. Is my only option to replace oil pan? They are about 1,000$!!!

About a year and a half ago I started to find oil drops on my garage floor under my 2000 RL with roughly 106k miles. After putting on a lift numerous times and spraying the oil off and inspecting I was unable to find any obvious leak or any damaged seals. I then changed my oil and substituted a quart of Lucas Oil Stop Leak for one quart of oil during the process. Within days the oil leak stopped and only experienced another leak once this winter when the temps plummeted to minus 28 degrees below zero. While these cars are well built, and last forever when well maintained, you can't undue time or high mileage effects on o-rings and seals and they eventually dry out or shrink leading to leaks. This was a "cost-effective" solution to a minor but irritating oil leak problem in my case.

Start with your oil switch!! Seal will start leaking! Then add main or rear seal sealer to oil,
