Navigation Problems

I recently lowered my 02 rl and i had to disconnected the fuse box, which was in the way of a bolt for the control arms. When i disconnected the fuse and reconnected the whole process after completing the install i turned my car on and the navigation took about an hour to locate my position through gps. That result came out fine after a couple of days driving around town and my location was off by a street or two on the navigation map. But the problem with the location corrected itself over time. But my main concern now is that before i disconnected the fuse box my navigation screen would stay light up the same even if my headlights were turn on or not, now when i turn my headlights on if i turn my park lights on during the day my nav screen is so dime that i am not able to see it at all, or vary fant.. Please help if anyone has had this run in and had a solution to fix thanks

You have to change the illumination from auto to daytime in the setup screen
