Looking for rear view mirror.
 

Soo, my rear view mirrors auto dim function Stoped working and now it's just basically a dark purple mirror that you can't see anything out of at night. Iv been looking online for a new one but can cost an arm and a leg. I'm wondering if any one has an extra one they'd be willing to sell or an idea of what I can do to replace it.

Try taking a look inside, see if you can see what went wrong.

Have you tried searching on Ebay? The mirror is used in a few different models so it's not too hard to find one. My original mirror died so I upgraded to a 2004 MDX mirror (it even tints blue).

My rearview exploded so I bought one from Tim at OEM Acura Parts. He told me the 3G TL one works in our car, but it's black housing only. My car has tan interior so it is a bit mismatched.

How much did the black TL one cost you from him? My interior is black so I wouldn't mind it.

I don't remember but it was dirt cheap compared to the RL.. They're exactly the same, but since it's a RL... I guess we have ridiculous markup.
