ISO Rims that will fit my 00 RL
Originally i wanted something completely aftermarket for it but iv seen a few of you have used TL rims which iv started to like much more then the idea of aftermarket rims. I'm wondering what year(s) of TL rims fit, and if there is any other rims off other Acuras that will fit. Im also wanting to tuck the tires under the fenders at some point, what would be the best rout of doing that?

I don't know anything about the rims. But as far as brakes go, what are you looking for? Keep in mind, if you are trying to upgrade this car to be more of a track car or go faster or more sporty or whatever, this isn't exactly the best car to do that on. What makes you want to change the brakes, if you don't mind me asking? Because if they don't seem to work that well, there may be most commonly one of two things wrong. One, brake pads have worn out (most common). And two, air in the brake line.
If you have air in the brake line, you'll have to bleed your brakes and put new fluid in.

oh i know im not going for track at all i want to keep this thing as clean as possible for luxury not track and its not so much the fact that they arnt working well, i just have dont like seeing cars that have after market rims have ugly rusted breaks poking out from behind it and painting the calipers i find dont always make it look any better. I wouldnt mind the look of the TL breaks.

From what I have researched the first gen 3.2TL front calipers and rotors are the same as our RL.

I have no idea. The NSX upgrade is probably the easiest bolt on upgrade that we have. If this is what you are thinking then no it won't work, different generation. http://www.ebay.com/bhp/acura-tl-type-s-calipers

Yes, they should work. I just remembered that the 99-04 RLs had larger brakes, so if your RL is of those years then the upgrade is not going to work most likely. If I had extra money I would likely try this out for myself. If I were you I would cross reference the part numbers and read the thread I linked to.

Well you can go supah balah and get some stoptech front and rear kits to about the total cost of 4 grand I think.
You can also modify the 05+RL calipers to fit, but finding rims to clear them is a pain.

Speaking of wheels...
I bought a set of RSX wheels last week and had a set of A/S tires that came with the car mounted on them. My tire guy wasn't sure they would clear the calipers so first we searched here and other forums but couldn't get a definitive answer. I held off mounting the tires until I could test fit the wheels. I found they fit just fine. I measured 6mm clearance with the stock RL wheels and 5mm with the RSX wheels.

I like the look of those wheels. I'd like to swipe my dad's 08 TL rims when he decided to get rid of his car! Speaking of his car, I actually just spent about 4 hours detailing it for him, haha. Wash, wax, armor all on tires, window treatment, leather treatment, vacuum.
