I'd like to share my timeline and new black housings!!!

Before the RL was my first car I had ever modded. I knew I had to because I was sick of stock. I had the bass, the wheels, the lights, the intake (without exhaust )... This was a pic a couple months because her tranny was about the crack. She was an auto and me being a crazy teen, I was the one drag racing it and slapping through all the gears.... Ahhh, 16 again...

Now.... (Or back a couple years ago)

My momma bought me a crisp 02 Acura RL and I was really the one who picked it out. I love my mommy. She had 115k and it was almost like she was calling to us from so much convenience.....

A great car that cleaned up so well. Like sooooo well! The pic with the GS is my cousin's car. I find is funny because right now both of are cars are totally different looking

My first real mods were debadging and HID foglights followed by LEDs in the cluster and interior. Being my first time doing this stuff, I think I did pretty good haha

Then I got some of these.....

Again, first times for everything. Pretty gnarly too when I think about it.

A couple of months before the TL wheels, I had fully detailed the ride with my rotary. This is actually the second car I've ever detailed alone.

Anyways.... I hated the brightness of the wheels sooooo.....

Primered and rattled stainless steel metallic... Thank you walmart

And about a month later....

Then another month later....

I'm going to now skip ahead because I'm getting bored of posting older pics, and of course everyone wants to see her now with her new headlights.. Also sorry about the dirty pics. She'll be clean by the end of the week.

Also did the independent fogs mod too. I just hafta remember to turn them off so they don't come on with my alarm.....

So haters gonna hate, but I love all you guys for the help and support. I absolutely love the way she sits now! We've come a long 2 or 3 years to get here haha. Opinions comments let's see'em

Hmm not a bad idea, I might have to steal that idea from you lol. I always felt that the tail lights were a bit too tall for the size of the back. I like the size of the 96-98 tail lights; seemed to fit the body better. Oh well.

It's really quite neat how much of a difference a few mods can make, especially on a car like the RL

Do you have a picture of that tail light set up? I'm curious.

Also... the headlights turned out great. Nice work!

>blackhatch, this car

I'll only do the bottom because it might not flow to well with the chrome on the trunk. If I had another ka9 and went for the murdered out look then.....

Headlights came out real nice man , i tried the accord rear lip its from the 95-95 model- and it didnt line up it needs extensive modding to get it to fit thinking back to it
