Because I should not be messing with it.
I was trying to replace all my bulbs to LED lights .
I took everything apart, first I bought the bulbs on ebay didnt even fit.
So I put evething back together,
The hardest part was putting the silver screws back together it was a pain.
I managed to put the cluster back I've noticed eveything had stopped.
I said f*ck!! I didnt have the time to remove it again, becasue removing the radio and putting back the radio was a pain in the ass.
Now i am fucked..I tried to night It was too dark .
Now I have no idea how fast i am going have no idea what the fuel. is .no lights at all.
The whole cluster is fucked..the only think thats displays ,miles outside temp..brake lights and headlights evertying is dark.Damn!
I found one on ebay for $200..I am thinking to get it.
But he said it has 118k on it mine has 160k ?
What do you guys think
Sorry guys I am so stupid,
Help will greatly be appreciated.

First and most important of all, did you put all the screws back where they belong and not over tighten them. Second, explain in detail what you did to the cluster so we can help you investigate with your problem.

I did try to tighten it. I don't remember which screws
Belong to which
They are 20 screws total
10 long screws ,4 mediumscrews, and another
4 screws this screws don't have like sharp edges
What I did I took it apart . I realized then the bulbs
I bought didn't fit. I did remove just couple t6.5 bulbs just to check
Them out if err burned out
The only thing I m thinking I had done
I did force the screws because some of them
Won't screws in
I think that's the problem
I don't know !
Thanks for your reply

Yes, I believe thats your problem. I think you should remove one screw at a time, and take them out and put them back in but don't over tighten its. Try that first and report back. BTW, never mix the screws up! That's going to be a headache.

Don't feel bad I did the same exact thing last summer. Ruined my speedometer and tachometer. My cars a 99 and I ended up buying a 98 cluster for 175 only to find the thing was a piece of shit. Had to open a case on the seller on ebay but managed to get a full refund. The only good thing that came out of this was I found a 2000 cluster for 75 in full working order.

Everyone makes mistakes.

This is normal. People remove all the screws and don't take their time and rush to put it all together and not many notice that the screws are all different in theory...

They all need to go back in the specific hole for the most part otherwise things won't work. It's not a complete loss, i think if you go back through and try it again and study which would go to what, it's salvageable.

Instead of saying "F*** it", do it right and take your time.

I think he already ordered a new one. Taking your time is most important, however I think he said he spent like 16 hours messing with it, so i dunno.

I was talking to an Acura Mechanic today.
He gave me a great tip,I would like to share with you.He said the best way to take that Cluster apart was first to use a tape over the screws.
Never remove those screws out .
Then just tip the board over with the tape on them .
Which I've found was clever.
Well now I know.
I just ordered some T6.5 LED bulbs super white I dont want blue lights.
Now I am going to mess with the older one.
I wont touch the new one..Hell no!

Color coat the screws... On the RL clusters its good to change all the bulbs at once... Might want to think about that on the new one... In case you install it and a bulb is out

I bought the super white LEDs from that same seller last summer. When you say they don't fit, do they fit into the socket, but not "click" in place? My solution was to use a soldering iron and dab a little bit of solder on each pad of the circuit board, it expanded the thickness just enough that it seats very tightly into the socket.

After I was rear ended a couple months ago, one or two of my lights started flickering, so I popped it back open, dabbed a little bit more solder on the pads, and they seated properly again.

I'd have to search my photos from last year, but I may also have a photo showing the screw location from the first time I took it apart.
