El-Baz's 2002 IBP RL...

So as not to hijack everyone else's threads, I figured I start my own "build" thread. Not much of a build, more getting things back to right!

I purchased the car for $3500 in Oct of '13. It had 206K on it at the time.
So far I've replaced the water pump, T&B belts, diff seals, wiper arm A (under the cowling), front fender liners, cluster bulbs, pads & rotors, all fluids and bought two sets of RSX alloys to replace the OEM RL wheels. I've also removed the NAV gear from the trunk and disabled the NAV screen.

Things coming up in the near future...
In-dash DVD player and (maybe) a video monitor in the dash to replace the OEM display.
Struts all around.
Motor mounts (The expensive, fluid filled ones).
Paintless dent repair on the drivers door.
Front bumper chrome trim pieces.
LED interior lighting.
Custom trunk deck.

RSX wheels w/snows mounted and serviced yesterday @ 112,000 miles...

The new rims look good! I think you have a mistake on your mileage. You say you bought it at 206k but the photo you posted says currently 112k. Also you can get the front chrome strips from dealers but their 60 apiece which is kind of much for a piece of trim...

Yup, should be 212K. They're $45 each from HPD. Still a lot for a little piece of plastic. Chrome plated or not!

How does your paint look so good lol? Ive been thinking about repainting my 02 that color since i find the champagne mist to be kind of grandpa-ey. I need to do some uoa's and make sure i dont have a headgasket leaking before i spend any money but i do appreciate this car alot. If it IS dying maybe ill just buy a first gen nsx....

Up close it's terrible. The previous owner really let it get scratched up. At 50ft/50MPH it looks great!

It's running great. My brother did the EGR tube cleaning and we changed the plugs a month ago. Getting mid 20MPG still. We've had so much snow lately I haven't had a full tanks worth of dry roads to compare accurately. 4 studded snows don't help.

Steering column is jacked. I got it into my driving position and turned it off.

I had to replace a tail light bulb the other day = POS!!!
