DVD Player

I have a 2004 Acura RL. How do you get the DVD player to work. I've tried and I get an error message. The navigation systems works perfectly. Also is there a way to upgrade the navigation system?

you are mistaken. the navigation is based off DVD disk...but cannot play movies.
to upgrade; keep OEM system in place and either order android headunit with GPS navigation, or do an android tablet retrofit to gain modern day GPS
