DIY:96-98 with 03-04 Taillights
So over the weekend I'm finally done with this project. It took me 15hrs+ , a lot of cutting and sanding. I rate this at 8.5 out of 10 for difficulty. I highly suggest you not to do this, unless you are pro and make everything look like stock. The reason I'm doing this because I don't plan to sell my car! Anyway, here is the DIY for those of you interested in it. Do it as your our risk and don't blame me if you make mistakes. I'm too tired so I will not write a lots. Good luck.
Tools: Drill, Dremel with cutting disk and sanding tube, goggle, mask, much more but I forgot
First, get the 03-04 taillight and put a little of toothpaste on the thread, this will help you to drill out the holes. You only need to drill out two holes and you need to enlarge the other two. As you can see I did a sloppy job lol.

Second, test fit your taillight. LOL, for some reason I looked funny in the reflection. I wore a google!

Third, sand the area I highlighted. Please ignore the circle.

Fourth, cutting the bumper! Be careful while doing this, I cut at 1" which leave me a big gap! You should cut at 0.5"! I put painting tape and I also had a 3M carbon trim piece which provided me a straight line to cut.

5th, cut this area, the bumper (the U shape)with the painting tape not the taillight!

6th, now you need to enlarge the bumper support bracket. Drill out the hole by going up, this will allow you to lower its.
Last step, Yeah! Put everything back

Yes, only the taillights are from 03-04. Unfortunately, I do not have time to remove every thing and taking pics for you lol. I have an exam coming up. It should be straight foward conversion, the only part you need to be careful is when you cut the bumper.
Hey Earl, I forget to take pic of my headlight lol. I completely forget you asked for it Hahhaa.
