disk navigation problems for rl 3.5 1999
Hi,
I am having problems with my screen for my disk navigation system. It is completely black but when I push the screen I can hear that it still work but just can't see anything so I know the screen still works.
I was quoted about $2300 for an acura navig. screen which is so expensive! I wanted Acura to look at it but they charge you $80 just for diagnostics.
Can someone help me to know what my problem is? Do I need to purchase a new screen or just the light(if there is such a thing) for my screen.
Thanks!

Its possible the backlight is bad. Unfortunately you'll have to shell out the $$$ for a diagnosis short of having me or someone else check it for you.

If you dont have the DVD, its no wonder it wont work.
You'll need to buy it either off of eBay or from Acura. I'm quite sure this an up-to-date version waiting for you.

It IS a '99 correct? I thought Acura didnt have DVD based navi's until 2000?
If it IS a 99, it is CD-based
