Changing Thermostat on 97 RL
Can anyone tell me how tough it would be to change the thermostat on my 97 Acura RL? I have checked with the dealer to change the thermostat and they are quoting $110. They will be changing out the radiator at the same time but said it is very difficult to change the thermostat.

It's not that difficult. You just need to download a service manual for 1st gen RL at pdftown.com.

There is no manual for an RL 1997 on their website.
