Bose amp wiring diagram

Hello all,
New here, but have been lurking a while. Love the site.

I needa little help...
I am installing a secondary amp and sub in the trunk of my 2004 RL with navigation, and am in desperate need of a pinout diagram of the bose amp connectors so I can pull my switched power and line level for my LOC.
I have searched and searched and have found nothing specific to my year and model.
I suppose I could just trace the rear deck speakers backwards for the line level, but still need switched power/amp turn on info.
Thanks in advance!

Um, thanks? I am aware of what is integrated with my sound system and have, since posting this, gained access to a FSM and gotten everything hooked up. Sounds great!

Did you ever figure out the Pinouts? Any diagram or help you could throw my way would be greatly appreciated. I’m doing a VIP build and I’m stuck trying to find the same damn PO out for the AMP not the head unit.

My system is out too, but I want to hear the BOSE! Any tips on aftermarket builds for that dash space? Plan on getting a WI-FI tablet to cover the navigation screen, perhaps bypass the existing amp with something w/ bluetooth connectivity...?

The usable space behind the dash makes using many head units and tablets possible. I ended up getting my pinouts done the hard way (tracing wires from doors back). Got my system together and it sounds fantastic. The Bose amp at the back has 2 connectors but the diagrams online have the wrong colors for the wires. I’ll write a pin out up myself in the next few days with the correct colors.

My ONLY tip to you, would be: treat the wooden trim around the radio and climate controls as if it were a spiderwebbed cracked but not broken piece of glass. It is FRAGILE, and you’ll be hard pressed to find replacement trim for these cars anymore.

That being said, these cars are finicky about cheap amps and static, don’t cheap out on the head unit. As for bypassing the amp, I installed the $70 Taramps 400x4 (100w/channel @2 ohms). I have Infinity Kappa Components installed all the way around and it made the absolute biggest difference.

Also, while the stock Bose system bumps, its lackluster compared to the better options out there.

Lastly, if you’re a 96-03 owner, do whatever you can to get your hands on the factory tweeter grilled and mounts from an 04, it makes such a difference in soundstage by moving the tweeters up in the doors. This also allows you to add a midrange to the stock tweeter location, thus leaving you with 6 total speakers up front and a absolute hell of a sound stage.

Best of luck, and if you have any questions, lmk.

Interesting, I just happen to have 4 sets of Bose 4" speakers w/ tweeters for a '13 Corvette. Hmmmmmmmm.......

I see you might be just as nutty as I am when it comes to jamming as many sets of speakers in a car as you can. 😂😂
