'91 Legend LS Coupe-To Restore OR Not To Restore.

Hey all,

Already posted on acura legend forum, with no responce.
I know this is the RL forums but its the closest thing to the legend (KA8) ,I don't mean to intrude by any means just have a concern and was hoping you guys can help.

Been a fan of the 2G Legend for a while and finally got the opportunity to purchase one since anyone in decent condition is a few grandhere. I have an '02 TL Type-S I'm currently lightly restoring.

Now ,the Legend in question is a 1991 LS (I think with Leather interior and auto/digital climate control?) Coupe, it currently has about 330K Kms which is about 206K Miles on the body and I am told by its current owner that the engine + Transmission has 45K Kms .I got him down to about 325$ CDN + Towing & Winter Storage. But that's not the issue, how much $$ am I looking at at restoring it?/Am I better off looking elsewhere...

Rough shape =

-Rust spots
-Cars has been sitting (brake caliper sticking?)
-Brake fluid leak (reservoir is Empty)
-Power steering leak (Empty)
-Trunk doesn't open
-Interior thrashed (DEFINITELY needs upholstering)
-Wiring nightmare ( Aftermarket starter/after market "Sony" audio wires/devices under dash)
-Drivers side seat doesn't go back and forth/up/down just back recline works)
-Owner repainted the car a blue whereas OEM was golden.
-Owner said alarm was going off so he pulled the fuse(why alarm no reason?)maybe dead battery @ the time?

Positives =

-Has GS Wheels
-Brand new battery
-All electronics work ( Including soft-close doors and seat beat handler)
-Muffler new
-Springs new
-Engine + Tranny swap JDM

I wouldnt bother. You'll end up dumping a fortune into that car, especially to fix the rust properly.

There are much cleaner examplrs available from the US. Id head that route.
