2002 Acura RL Universal Brake Caliper?
 

I just bought a 02 RL an had seized up slide pins on pass. side, cleaned and greased. Work like new. BUT!!! on my driver side there is a NISSIN brake caliper, i have not been able to find another to change the pass. side with. Is this a caliper from another vehicle? Or am i just not searching the right places? Any help?

Whoever had your RL before you did some sketchy repair work on it if a Nissan brake caliper is installed on it. You don't mention whether it's the front or rear wheel that had the Nissan caliper on it but new from the dealer best price is $222.15 (https://www.acurapartswarehouse.com/...ake.html?PNC=7). Best price aftermarket is $90.95 (https://www.1aauto.com/search?q=brak...2002&model=583) but they only have front calipers. Advance Auto also carries calipers (https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/fi...-caliper.c8735)

So i have NISSN not "Nissan" its a caliper mainly installed on the Honda Accord, 02- 06 i believe. I have NISSIN on all 4 tires, the front tire i searched the part # 17cl16vn that is the front caliper. Cannot read the rear # but i found 2 for sale from 50-70$ basically it seems like all replacement parts are a similar fit from Honda model cars. Just trying to see all i can find to retrofit as the Honda parts seem more inexpensive than the OEM Acura brand

Sorry! My fault for not paying closer attention to what you wrote. There are parts that will work on both Accords and RL's but it's a pain in the ass trying to figure out which ones do, or don't. They are a lot of aftermarket parts for brakes for your car made by CENTRIC, RAYBESTOS, POWER STOP, and CARDIN. I'm sure you can find something in your price range.
