2000 3.5RL AUX help

Hey guys, I just purchased an iSimple ISAS-71 to hook up my phone to my car. I have taken apart the dash, and gotten to the cable, but the circular plug that fits the cd changer will not fit. The pins are placed in the same place, but it won't plug in, not matter what angle I try. Any ideas? I can't seem to get this to work and this is my first mod ever so I still need to learn

Your car doesn't have nav right? And if you want an easier spot to test to make sure its the right cable disconnect the cd changer in the trunk and plug in that wire.

Just a quick question, got the cord in and I'm reinstalling the radio unit. I can't seem to get it back without force that seems like I'll break it, the bottom half just doesn't want to click in. Any tips?

Ryan, because we are not there, and this is a very specific problem due to the exact product you bought, its hard for us to help you at all. The product is probably not made to spec.

I don't know what kind of experience you have with stuff like this, but putting an adapter is pretty basic, it either fits or it doesn't. Unless we can see it ourselves, you have to see where it is catching, determine whether or not its worth modifying so it will fit, etc. I speak for myself, when I say I can only speak from personal experience, but, in my own opinion, there are better ways to put in an auxiliary port.

I figured the product out. My new problem is now placing my radio back into my dashboard. I am a bit hung up on the fitment. I can get it 9/10 of the way in, and now I feel like I need to use excessive force to get it back in, so I was wondering if there was some sort of technique that would get it back in without feeling like I am going to break it. Thanks for replying
