Thumbs up 2,400 mile roadtrip

Well, a week ago today, I finished my three-day long, 2,400 mile roadtrip from Portland, OR to Detroit, MI (my new "home"). Did 12 hour days with my dad along scenic interstate 90, cruising on average around 80 MPH with the AC on (either fully on, or running in "econ" mode). RL was loaded to the brim, along with my bike rack. Was great to get everything out of the car.

Car ran/runs flawlessly, and I averaged around 21/22 MPG (pretty good considering the load). Great, great car. I appreciate more it the older it gets.

Yup. G1 RL. 2000 RL w/ Nav. Have had it since new, and has about 110k on the clock.

I have had some fun on I90 in the Cleveland area. It used to almost never have any troopers on it.

I did 2,200 miles in California a few weeks ago. The RL is perfect for such trips.

The RL is a great highway cruising car.... It is not the fastest from a dead stop due to the weight and the v6, but I was always impressed by how fast it got from 40 to 80 getting on the highway.... Very comfortable and steady at 80 as well. I always felt safe in it....

Guys,
My RL reads 175K now and my first owner brought it in Canada ( so ODo is in KM) maintened very well. He told that he put only Premium upto 50K Miles. Regurarly serviced in Acura Dealer.

I am planning for a long 1500 mile trip shortly and my question What are the things i need to make sure before taking off in RL. I mean is it better to check all the fluids are ok and stuff like that.

let me know the inputs
