1999 acura rl won't rev past 2k and won't go faster than 5 mph
Can anyone help me? Not TL related. So I'm having a problem with my 1999 acura Rl. So I recently changed the fuel pump and ignition coils. I drove home one night went home, next morning the car start and everything fine, but when I put in D the car didn't want to Rev. So I put in P and Rev fine so I put in D again and the car doesn't go past 5Mph I don't know what the issue is I've been looking around everywhere for answers. No lights on dash

What your describing sounds like your car is in "limp-mode." It's a sort of self-protection mode when the computer senses some kind of sensor problem and it prevents you from damaging anything. You need to find someone who has a scan tool to check for codes that will give you an idea of what's wrong. Walmart has a cheap one for around $33.00 but you would most likely have to order it online. Advance Auto Parts and Autozone will scan your car for free if you can get to one of their stores. Good luck!

Remove ecm/ecu fuses under dash! Replace after a couple minutes. Turn engine on leave in park rev to 3,000 rpm for 3 minutes!! That’s a relearn procedure!! Take for a ride! If no! Then do a tcs clear!
