1998 RL Rear Wheel Sensor Repair
My ABS and TCS lights come on and the diagnosis is rear wheel sensors. Repair is $260 parts and $140 labor. I found the parts for $140. Has anyone replaced them themselfs? They don't look complicated and appear to bolt on and plug in.
Thanks,

The rear wheel sensors are easy to replace! Just DIY. Just make sure you take all the safety precautions such as using wheel chocks and jack stands and working only on a level ground. Never have any part of your body under the car (including your arms and legs) when the car is only supported by a jack. And, make sure there's another person with you, in case something goes wrong and you need emergency medical help - that person can call for medical help on your behalf.
An RL is very simple and easy to work on. If you think an RL is not simple, then try to work a german car - you'll find that an RL is extremely easy to work on.

The RL is easy to work on for the most part (the engine and its removal is tough)
I'd buy a Helms manual and attempt this if you're mechanically inclined.
