Checking in.
Hello all, my names Rod and i'm here to party.
Bought this '98 RL yesterday, 243,460 miles and it rides smooth as butter. Regularly maintained, timing belt, water pump, belts, etc. all recently replaced. $4310.84 from a local dealer who knew the cars history very well.

Hello all,
I've had my 2002 Acura RL Navi for at least 3-4 years now. I got her when my 95 Maxima was about to crap on me. She had 115k when I got her. Now, she is just shy of 170k.
Mods:
DDM HID 5k fogs
Debadged
07-08 TL OEM wheels 17x8 painted SS Metallic
LED gauge cluster (soon to be replacing bulb again)
LED Dome lights
K/N drop in filter
She is Nighthawk Black Pearl. I did a good 6 day full detail on her early in the year. Religiously, I have been doing oil changes every 5k with strictly OEM filters and Mobile 1 Synthetic 10w-30. She is about to get her first 3x tranny drain and fill as soon as my ATF dw1 case comes in. I am also going to be lowering her at least 1 to 1 1/2 inches on the KA7/KA8 Koni Sport Kit hopefully by early next year if funds and shipping work out well.
I've always taken good care of my car; She still runs like a top. I've been a member for some time. This would be my first post. I'd like to thank everyone for helping me out. I'm a college student and I've been doing a lot of research and found a lot of info about the KA9 through a lot of forums, including acurazine! Again thank you! And I look forward to speaking with some of you guys about our cars or anything!
Pics will come soon!

2000 Acura RL. Found out it had a repaired title after I bought it...Overall it's a great car and I'm happy with it as a first car. Plans for I.C.E, tint, and maybe a set of MDX wheels.

2004 Acura RL
My first RL, also first Honda product WITHOUT VTEC.
Navigation, Nighthawk Black Pearl, Parchment.
Onstar that is useless.
91k miles
2nd owner
Accident-Free
always been garaged
9,500
All belts and hoses replaced incl. timing and w/p
Reciepts and owners manual show it was always serviced at Honda Acura dealerships.
She uses quite a bit more gas than i expected but the ride is so smooth and quiet that i dont really mind.

2004 Carbon Gray 3.5RL
I'm VERY jealous. The right color with the black interior. How did you pull that off? That's almost as rare and the Indigo Blue color they released and the slate gray paneling instead of the wood paneling.

Proud new owner of a white 04 w/120k. This is my second 04, I traded the first one for a 10 TSX V6 TSX was fun but I missed the RL like crazy, so round two begins. I've also owned 6 Legends

***YakRuza*** ("Yaukza Kruza") is a:
2004 RL 3.5 with Navi (premium)
Silver, Carbon / Grey leather int / Green burl-wood trim
59,000 Miles
Stock everything thus far, except my trusty Valentine 1 (naughty-box) to tell me where Mr. Smokey is hiding.
Dings, Dents (incl. left fender P.O. crap scrape fix with bondo and rattle can!)
VSA in the mornings when shes still sleepy on work ride.
"Maint. Required" from time to time (will do reset)
Broken Arm Rest latch (and still looking for the correct plastic piece part number.)
Balding left front tire on the corner (toe in issue looks like)
Missing plastic panel for the left front fender wheel well covering the wiring harness in the mud flap housing (need part number)
Trunk full of sailboat restoration tools
Headlight housings "frosting" a lil on the top 1/5. (3m compound 1500 grit and the buffing wheel).
Debadged all Rick Case lettering and license plate bracket from p.o.
Black Airline jet fuel carbon stained paint. (needs compounding)
Plans:
She's a lil rough around the edges, but in sound mechanical shape except for the left front suspension issue with teh corner of tire balding. This was a family car so I know the history straight from the dealer with all records meticulously kept.
To get her in top shape and back at its maximum value with her low miles and and also an '04 rarity.
-Transmission Flush
-Oil change in another 1000 miles
-Coolant flush and refill
-Tuneup
-New rims (Gunmetal chrome combo or satin black with chrome) and tires (classy but modern and cheap!)
-Minor Body work to fix the scars
-KnN filter replacement
-Debadging completely
-Tint Windows
-eventually, new suspension with respectable drop
-Stereo Cracks, Hacks and Mods for the Navi screen and my new Samsung S4 phone.
-fixed center console retainer clip.
-add on front lip air-dam to stock
-lighting re-freshening i.e. plate bulbs and interior led blue hue from under seats etc.
-Aftermarket painted (Blue) Calipers, slotted n drilled disks and fresh pads.
-Pistol Grip shifter (on its way from Amazon)
-Tight, classy, steering wheel, lace up leather cover
-thorough detailing (mostly cleaning everything and buffing)
-May have to respray car after body work. (Thinking of changing color (I hate silver on gray, but the price was right, $1 was the title sale.)) Also value affection if i change the color.
-Clear rear light housings mod (debatable, don't want to make the luxury cruiser look like a Japanese toy.)
(Plan items are in no way shape or form in order of necessity / demand.)
Photos with mods as soon as I'm no longer considered a greeny and off my probation.

The "green" burlwood was actually supposed to be black. Same color as your window switches. The sun fades it after time.
Nice choice though, I was going to pick up the same color combo right before I picked up my RL.
#188
If that's the case with the green, all of it is uniform, including the original shifter and not peeling yet, and it was like that the day it was brought home to the family only a year after it the roads and came off its 12 month lease.

99 with Nav. All black everything. Bought it two years ago from my Grandmother for $1000 with only 112k on it. OEM rims went bad and oxidized so upgraded to the 2007-2008 tl rims. Replaced timing belt, O2 sensor behind the cat, and EGR valve imploded.
Still has some scratches and a slightly unhooked from bumper but for the price I paid can't complain.

2002 RL, 165k, no navigation, premium white. I recently switched over to this car from a long line of Lincolns & Cadillacs. I'm very pleased with this car and can only say I should have switched over sooner. I'm not a small guy and didn't know there was a larger car that was this great. I look forward to reading up on it.
