19" HRE rims!

Went to the local junkyard today and found an absolute diamond in the rough! Four HRE rims, two 19×8.5 and two 19×9.5. They had been on a bmw that caught fire but the rims just need to be stripped and resprayed or dipped. I never really heard of HRE brand but after a Google search i found out why, way way out this man's price range, that is until i found em char-broiled in a scrap yard in a heap. Sixty bucks later they are mine. My question is will 19" s fit under a 2001 RL ?

If they came off a BMW, most likely they are 5x120... The 1G RL is 5x114 bolt pattern. Unfortunately, the likely answer here is no.... Worth a test fit though!

Thinking about trying a set of wheel lug pattern adapters to make them fit. If that dont work right i will spray them and sell them. Anyone ever used wheel soacer/adapters before?

^sure...but it's just better to get the correct specs of wheels in the first place.

happens all the time tho. some one thinks they got an awesome deal but doesnt fit car. you can try with a wheel adapter/spacer...
but that's just adding more things to complicate troubleshooting.

let's say the wheels arent round. there's a bend in 1. you've added spacers to get them to fit. only there's this annoying vibrating issue.
instead of troubleshooting 4 items; you've now have to troubleshoot at least 8 items!!
