What does this indicator light mean?

My wife has a 2010 RDX and noticed this white indicator light that looks like a speedometer with the needle at 0. In most cars, the cruise control indicator looks a lot like this, but I know it’s not the cruise indicator in this car, which says “CRUISE” in text. I’ve flipped through the manual several times to no avail. Any ideas what this means?

It's actually the indicator for that brightness adjustment knob

So it’s always on, just showing you where the knob is located and what it’s for? And my wife just finally noticed it after two years? 🤣

Yes.

I thought it was because you are out of blinker fluid

Looks like she has been driving around for 2 years with the instrument panel lights turned all the way down.......

If you need a coupon I have one, no reason to pay 💰 full price 🙂.

Sucker play...just drain the right side, store it in the appropriate type container marked "R" and drain the left side marked as "L" and store it in the appropriate type container and add to the alternate side for front and back. For better performance and longer life rotate the fluid like you would tires.

That little light will turn yellow if there is a leak in the blinker system

CSmoney28 02-26-2019 06:36 PM

Yeah, it’s fully synthetic. It’s recommended in the user manual by Acura. You can find it in the matinence journal. Your suppose to change it with each oil change.

If there is a problem with the system it goes from yellow for a leak to red if it runs completely out.

I don't think he's coming back now that he's realized his mistake :tomato:
