Transfer case leak in 2008 RDX

Hi All,
After an inspection at my dealer, they found a leak in the transfer case. It's still under warranty as my 2008 RDX was a CPO. I have 77k miles on it with no major problems. Any reason why I shouldn't have this fixed? Thanks!!!

Guess I have the only transfer case leak. My dealer charged Acura $1146 for this "repair." I have mixed feelings in that I'm happy to have it under warranty but don't feel it was really necessary.

You're right; must be the only one!

I've had friends that worked for dealers tell me stories about all the unnecessary warranty repairs......

I guess it's better to get it done and not really need it then to really need it an not get it done.
