Screws showing Behind Steering Wheel

Screws showing Behind Steering Wheel
Not a big deal I don't think, but with the dash layout in todays modern cars, why do I see two screw heads behind the steering wheel (on the column if you turn the wheel). There are no other screw heads visible in any other parts of the dash. As you all know, they get some kind of cover on them to pry up and break if you need to remove them. The reason I ask, is if everyone else can see these (and is it the original design), or if for some reason, the screws should not be visible, and there was a repair done on the car and the caps were not replaced. I bought it used about a year ago (2011 RDX FWD Tech). Thanks all.

Ours doesn't have these caps. The Steering Rack was replaced, however, so maybe they didn't replace the caps (too), but to my knowledge there never were caps there and you could always see the screws.

Thanks Pan! Not a big deal, but I was just relatively surprised to see the screw heads visible when I turn the wheel. Maybe Acura engineers figured when the wheel is straight, the screws are covered up. Still love the car after 11 months. Going for first B1 service in a couple weeks as the dreaded 15% oil left light comes on now every freaking single time I start it up. Glad Premium gas has come down in price too!
