RonJon Concept RDX, experimental for now.

was thinking of making a kit for the RDX, but it is still such a gamble at this point, I have no idea of how many people will actually want to mod it. Anyway, it has the new 20" Forged 2-piece wheels and urethane front bumper / rocker panels / grille / tinted and cleared headlights. There will also be a rear diffuser and molded mud guards.

whaddya think?

It looks great man - you do good work!

I personally prefer a rounder style over hard edges so I'd like a less agressive front lip.

But still very nice man

Wow...that looks pretty damn good, Ron. I think the only change I can see on that front airdam is that the lower air opening in the center could stand to be larger and the lower piece with the strakes could stand to be a bit smaller. Otherwise,

Do the strakes on the lowest grill match the strakes on the turbo grill?
Are the intake holes below the fog lights functional? If not, how about moving the fogs down there for a cleaner bumper?

Wow that looks really good. The only thing I don't like is the lower portion of the front, makes it look a little too Transformer-ish.

Thanks, the sides were just a space filler for now to even out the height, but the front is an add on lip, from the middle down. Of course this is a first attempt, but I would def keep working on it till it is just right. Now to see how welkl the RDX does with the aftermarket crowd.

I don't know yet, I mean, I want to, but I kinda have to be selective considering the cost and amount of kits projected to be sold. The tooling to actually create the molds is nuts. How many more years on the TSX anyway?

that looks great, Ron! I think a lot of people will be hooking up the rdx. the only thing is, too many grilles in front. i think it's just the one dead in the middle that needs help. maybe if the top one was filled in like the 3G TL grille u did. anyway, keep up the good work

Current rumors place the TSX replacement at around 2008 as a 2009 model. Whether or not this will change is yet to be seen.

It looks great. Are you going to make those wheels for the stock 18" tires. I would be very interested.

does it matter? the new version coming out just means they'll be more avialable on the used car market, which is when people are more willing to mod a car, not when its brand new and under factory warranty.

Ronjon,

That car looks great, I like the fact that you made it take on a more angular shape from the front. Just for perspective what would something like that cost off the top of your head minus the rims?

The workmanship is very nice and you seem to have nailed it for the most part. However, as others have said, I would match the lower half of the front bumper to the top, sort of coming to a point.

Also, I think the side skirts are a little 2-D and I would definitely try to tuck them in a bit more, and they should have lines to match up with the doors, etc.

RDX the Shark

I think Ronjon's rocker panels, lower grill work and tinted lenses reinforce RDX's shark image. Mean lookin machine that can't stop swimming.

There is no "kit" it was definitely a one off made purely as a concept. Sales on the RDX would have to increase dramatically for RonJon to even consider making a body kit. Plus it would have to take off in the tuner crowd.

Quick Reply: RonJon Concept RDX, experimental for now.
