RDX - rear de-badging of 'turbo' and 'SH-AWD'

thinking of debadging the TURBO and SHAWD...this pic will give you somewhat of an idea of how it'll look (although the sh-awd is still there)...i mean holy crap, its like reading an essay on the RDX ass... ... acura... rdx... turbo...sh.. awd....

anyone do any 'half' or 'full' debadging? as per https://acurazine.com/forums/1g-rdx-2007-2012-147/debadged-my-rdx-680846/

Well worth the effort. Car looks much cleaner. All my friends wives keep asking me "What kind of car is that?"

I took my SHAWD off, my ACURA off and my TURBO off...

Replaced TURBO on the left side with a porsche 930 turbo emblem.

I just left RDX on mine, to prevent the Mr. Marco situation...

Sounds intriguing. I like the red badge too.

done. i just removed 'SH-AWD' and 'TURBO'...i like the clean look and RDX badging.

debadging is super easy...heat it up with a hairdryer, pry it off with your finger/finger nails, rub off the residue, apply some bugntar remover with a microfibre towel on the leftover residue, again...rub off gently with fingernails..and then apply a bit of express spray wax on the 'previously decaled' area. .. and yes, i put in LED bulbs for the license plates. they are pure white and look great on WDP.

Why would you take off the Acura badge and then leave the RDX, Turbo, SH-AWD badges? Looks lopsided IMO.

Do it like you would to a stripper. Take them all off, baby!

Why would you even bother. It looks good with the badging. Everyone to their own.

Just like some strippers look fantastic either with or without their clothes on. Perhaps that's why I MOSTLY debadged my car... I also like it when strippers take almost everything off but leave just a bit to my imagination!

Personally, I love the look of the badges on my rdx but that's a really good analogy though lol

Anyone have a pic of a white '11 fully de-badged?

Soon to be de-baged say I am. (In Yoda's voice)

One thing I liked about Germany, no badges on bimmers, it's easy to tell which series it is, and I've driven most of the bimmers 95-05, and one mb 03, my fav, lol. But with exception of the z's. Come to think of it I never really saw one over there.

Badges are like for snooty people anyway. In 97 I scraped the Vtec off the Paylose, I'd even black chrome my ack emblems. But the paylose will need a race-me punk, badge.
