So my first question would be about the 2010 and up Remote engine start. Does anyone know that if it reverse compatible for 07-09? I don't really want to install an aftermarket viper Alarm just to get the engine starter, would rather keep it OEM and simple.

Second question is about my 08 RDX. My RDX is making a high pitch wind or winding noise when I accelerate over 30MPH and when I come to a stop below 20MPH or less it tones down and stops. For sure it's not coming from the turbo because I can hear it loud and clear.

The noise seems to be coming from the front right side and I am having a hard time trying to figure out where the hell its coming from and its really irritating me.

Has anyone else experienced this problem before and might know where its coming from?

When I have my I phone on a charger and hooked up to the aux input some times I get ground loop noise maybe you do to.

It's not my phone charging or anything like that. The Acura dealer diagnosed my car and said that it was coming from the Drive Shaft Center Support bearing. They wouldn't honer my car because I am over 3,000 miles extended warranty by couple hundred miles. They want to charge me a total of $584.92 with parts and labor.

Unacceptable!! I contacted the general manager and told him that this is bad business since I purchased the car from their lot. They should have noticed it and taken care of it. Because when I first purchased my Acura RDX from them, it was missing one radiator fan and I caught that myself and pointed it out to them. So he said that he can't cover the parts and labor but only will knock off a couple hundred which leaves it $384.92.

I am disappointed with them and will never be going back to them for business. My personal mechanic is charging me $275 parts and labor included which I will be getting it done this weekend.

I contacted the Acura Dealer and they said that only the 2010 and up Acura RDX have the options of the remote key fob engine starter.

dude if they don't honor it you should write a nasty gram to hoa and defiantly do the work yourself. the drive shaft comes out really easy.

I have an 2011 and have never heard anything about a remote key fob.
