I'm sold! Now it's a matter of when I am going buy it. I have been looking at small SUVs for a few months. It would have been much better if Honda had put their first US production turbo in the TSX.

Well, I think if you are a good negotiator then it won't make much of a difference. For example, during the summer my dad used their auto buying program to purchase a Limited 2WD (V6) 4runner and he was able to negotiate for another 1000 bucks on top of the Costco member price (I think it was $500 over the invoice). I am pretty sure that if you are a good negotiator then this is no biggie but for the cars like RDX if you want to get it ASAP and you don't want to pay MSRP then I'll say it's worth it to use the Costco program (at least you will pay less then MSRP).

Actually, when i bought my TSX in June of '03 (they came out in April of '03), the Costco price was MSRP, which was the same price that dealership was charging all customers. This was at the time when they had no cars in stock, and all cars had to be ordered from their allocation. We bought ours before the build date, actually.

Anyhow, the moral is high demand cars don't always have a special Costco price.
