I'm in the process of hard wiring my V1. I've found a location. It's going to be to the right of the rear view mirror. I've made the necessary modifications to get it to stay there. Pictures coming soon. Using the instructions for installing day/night mirror I was able to figured out the wiring in the map light holder, however, I've decided to install the remote display unit. So I want to tap the wires from some where under the dash/steering column instead. Can someone tell me which wire I should look for to get the accessories/lighter power? I don't want the V1 on all the time. I want it on only when the car is running. thanks.

cfoo, i have it mounted up in the same spot two with the suction cups, but i was wondering about the wiring, is their some diagram or something u could scan for me so i can wire that. i do have the day/night mirror already
