New to the Forum, 2010 RDX SHAWD Tech Owner
Hi,
My name is Mike and my gf and I pick up a 2010 RDX Tech with SH-AWD. with 56k miles. It is he new DD replacing her 1996 RAV4. Here are some pics:
Just wanted to introduce myself and show off the car.
Any recommendations on what do with the car as far as basic maintenance and recommended mods. I was thinking about mud guards and LED interior lighting. We already got full WeatherTech mats for it.

Nice looking ride and welcome to the family!
You just need to Hondata that baby for $300 to more power/TQ and a little bump in mpgs!

I just purchased an Acura RDX 2011 Tech package. Have there been any major problems with using Hondata that would hurt the transmission/engine? I have a 12 month power train warranty on my car but after that I might consider flashing if it doesn't cause any harm to my RDX.

I did the ETS intercooler about a year ago and that also improved power with a positive side effect of improved mpgs. Hondata+ETS equals about a bump of 1.5 to 2 combined mpgs along with +30-35hp/+40-45tq.
The only thing I do extra is flush the 5AT every 30,000 miles; but, that is out of habit and I do this for all my vehicles.
Because of the larger intercooler, I can feel a slightly more hp/tq with the RDX because of colder temps. I didn't feel this bump in power in the winter with the OEM intercooler.
