My wife's 2007 Tech just hit 100,000 miles!!

It took awhile. We bought it on 5/31/2010 with 56,121 miles.

We averaged 17.53 mpg.

Nice, make sure to get the transmission fluid changed and the differential fluid. Also now would be a good time to the spark plugs. Some things to prolong the life of the engine

My understanding is the 1st Gen RDX's are pretty bulletproof like the 1st and 2nd gen CR-V's. That means your wife's is probably less than middle age with many more miles to go. My wife's is pushing 70k. It's comforting to know it will be on the road and in our possession for a long time.

Easily the greatest feature of the 1G RDX is the bullet proof reliability

I just past 146,000 miles on my 08 RDX. I had to replace the coil packs ($800) before x-mas. Only having to pay $800 for coil packs, $1000 for tires, another $800 to replace the struts/shock (along with routine maint) isn't much considering I've paid this car off +6 years ago. I can see my RDX going for another 2-4 years at 10,000-12,000 miles per year with only minor repairs around the same amount $$$ as the last few years.

I will only sell my current RDX if the 3rd Gen RDX is a figgen' beast that can at-least go toe-to-toe with my current Hondata/ETS-intercooler/progress RSB/sh-awd RDX.

well if the current testing of the 1.5t 2.0t is any indication there is certainly a lot of head room built into them. last i saw was a ctr running 113 in the 1/4 and 12s. and dynos look better then most bolted and tuned rdx. with just a tune. all i can say is DI is pretty nice granted its max power potential is limited without spending significant money but this isn't a "racing platform" still fun to hurt feelings and surprise people though!
