I have an 08 Tech since 2010 and it now has +140,000 miles. I still love driving this thing and it is my go to ride when I want to have fun. I would make sure the RDX is up-to-date on all maintenance first. I would also plan on changing all fluids (brake, power steering, engine, 5AT, transfer case, sh-awd rear diff, anit-freeze) if there isn't a service record. I would even replace the serpentine belt with a kit if it looks like the original belt. Some of us had issues with OEM battery, alternator, door actuators, and power steering unit (pump and/or rack); always having $$ on hand and and eBay account for power steering parts is helpful.

OEM upgrades like front spoiler, rear diffuser, or side steps might be harder to find and the usual internet discount not available. I would start looking now and plan on paying up to full price for any OEM type mods. Anything else like brake upgrades, engine mods, rim/tires, suspension, I/H/E, rear hitch, or sound system can still be done at anytime with aftermarket.

Do you know if the airbag recall has been done on your RDX?

I would do for a first mod a hodata reflash or suspension work like lowering springs or coilovers after that some good brake pads and rotors.
