First long drive with RDX from Vancouver, BC to Seattle, Washington

Took the first long drive with the RDX down to Seattle Washington.

Comments:
The RDX felt solid and stable on the road the whole time, travelling at 75 mph on I5 interstate.
At one point, the car in front of me, hit a seagull that flew too low, and when it was being tossed around in front of me, I had to make an emergency maneuver to go around it. The RDX was again very stable and remained planted on the road the whole time. The passengers were a little startled, but otherwise never really felt anything too unsettling. Good suspension work, Acura.
As part of the trade-off with the solid suspension trade-off, the washington state roads were really terrible, and the road noise from the tires and jolts from the stiff suspension was quite annoying at times.
The Nav worked beautifully, amazed my guests as well, at how easy it was to find different places such as restaurants and shops.
Gas consumption was mediocre as expected, @ 10.4L/100 km, with 80% hwy and 20% city driving.
My son and wife typically hates to sit at the back of any car during long distance driving, due to motion sickness issues, they never felt any of that in the RDX. A great testimony to the solid suspension set-up.
Overtaking slower moving vehicles was good in the RDX, turbo responding well.

Overall, it was a good ride in the RDX down to Seattle, offering confidence building driving and a fun-filled drive.

Mav, that is awesome, it's great to know that the money used to purchase the car was money well spent.

I just did a drive from Kansas City to suburban Chicago, with wife, 14 and 19 year old kids plus luggage. Car is a very nice highway cruiser. No complaints. Ran as fast a 80 on cruise for 90 minutes or so on I70 in Missouri early sunday morning.
