Competition coming from Volvo

Called the XC60 and it actually looks really good:

Looking at a turbo 6/ 281HP/ AWD standard...interesting.

I guess one man's meat is another man's poison...

The exterior of the XC60 is alright, not super captivating to me...

The interior with that stupid outdated wood looking center console panel... it looks hideous for a luxury ute... The wood looks like cheap plywood!

One thing that always bugs me is the really outdated Volvo emblem on the front grille. Compare that to how Mercedes has moved on from their three star thing stuck out of the hood, to now their much mo attractive large three star emblem on the grille itself. Volvo really needs to move ahead with the times in the way they potray their car image.

Plus, this new ute is going to probably cost a lot of money again, like it's bigger borther XC90.

JMHO... it doesn't even come close to being nice as compared with the RDX.

fuel economy will probably be an issue, especially running a turbo 6. will probably be too expensive though

looks nice. Interior is a little "too old fashioned" for me. Not a huge wood grain interior guy, but the rear and front look pretty good IMO.

The rear with some tasteful LED's .... can't go wrong with LED's.

Now, if they made the center console look like the concept car, THAT would be insane!!!

Volvo really has figured out how to make an attractive ass on a car. To bad the interiors are designed by the Soviet Ministry of Eye Gouging.

looking at the entire image, it does look like a cross of the cx7/cx9, especially with the lines running along the car. however, i would say, the concept has the next generation interior. soon, everything will look like that. a "plasma touch interface" IS THE FUTURE !!!

No, Volvo will be, forever and a day, a FWD or F/AWD car company. NOT acceptable for adverse roadbed conditions wherein stearing control is just as, or maybe more important, than traction for forward drive (or engine braking).

Honda/Acura's SH-AWD system does it RIGHT....FINALLY...!!

Looks as if the center of gravity is too high which would make it unusually subject to rollover.

Well, thr first time I saw the C30 concept in autoshows, I thought it looked really cool, and would like to get one. But when the production model came out, it looks really crappy to me...

I like it, despite the cx-7/9 influences

like the retro "V O L V O" on the tailgate

I agree that the shape looks very similar to the RDX. Any guesses about price?

Volvos have always seemed kind of clunky to me and quality/reliability on a couple that my friends own has been poor.

Doesn't do anything for me, especially that craptastic interior.
