Calling all RDXers with white exterior!!!
Hi all -- picking up an RDX this week (got an amazing deal, but that's another post!).
One of the exterior color choices we've narrowed it down to is the white.
However, I've noticed something weird on the white ones on the dealer's lot...appears that the color on the front and rear bumber covers do not match the rest of the car.
I realize the bumber covers are plastic (and the rest of the exterior is metal), but I've never such a big difference (especially on a Honda product). The other colors (darkers ones though) don't have this problem.
Was curious if you other white exterior owners have the same thing (or maybe this was just a "bad" lot). Salesperson says the white ones are always like this (I'm thinking he's trying to move what he has onsite)
Thanks very much for any input!

I dont see it. I'll go look again, but my eyes must be bad because someone else mentioned the same thing.
My last five vehicles have been white, and I've never noticed it on them either...
I guess if it really bothers you, buy a Hyundai instead ?

Not Limited to Acura
There's a difference and it does not bother me. According to the dealer, there's a difference on how the paint stick/react (for the lack of a better term) with metal and plastic surfaces. It bothered me earlier, but I noticed that some white Audi and BMW have the same effect.

I can relate!!! I almost went with the white. I did see the slight difference in the white body and trim, but was not that big a deal. Reason I did NOT go with White was that solid white kind of over accentuated some of the bold body style the RDX has. This is great for a lot of folks, but I wanted to be a little more subtle so went with the Carbon Bronze Pearl. CGP is also great but the CBP is a really cool color. Not as hot in the sun and depending on the light can have totally different hues.
I am not the official spokesperson for the CBP color ;-) I just chose it over white at last minute!

Great minds think alike! We picked up the CBP yesterday. Yup, the color definitely shifts with the sunlight. One minute it's brownish (bronze) the next is charcoal (carbon) -- cool indeed!
