another cold related issue has popped up.

Wondering if anybody else has this:
The keyless remote system has started malfunctioning when it is cold outside. Sometimes it will lock & unlock by hitting the button on the key fob repeatedly real fast. Other times, when even colder, it won't work at all. Have to stick the key in the door.
Every thing works just fine when it warms up-just like the nav CD not loading properly until warm & the screen not working until warm when its really cold.
I've checked the fob battery voltage-fully charged at 3 volts, and cleaned the contacts inside the key fob. None of that makes any difference.
I guess there is nothing cheap & easy to fix this - I'll be glad when winter is over around here.

What year and type of RDX do you have?

Did you try using your other remote?

Did you check the battery and the alternator?

Did you make sure that all the doors were locking and unlocking with the door button?

2007 RDX Tech.
I only got one working remote & key with the vehicle.
All door actuators & rear hatch lock & unlock together & correctly-when it decides to work.
Battery is fully charged, stays fully charged, & all other electrical stuff works fine.
It didn't work this AM and it was only about 50 degrees outside-not that cold.

So you're saying that the power door locks sometimes don't work. I think that's the actual problem. The remote just sends a signal to the car to activate the power door locks.

Yeah, right, the key fob does not seem to be the problem.
The problem seems to be with whatever component receives the signal from the key fob & then operates the door actuators / locks
Supposedly that part is called the Multiplex Integrated Control Unit.
But I cannot find it on the Acura parts list by that name.
