is this normal? it seems like the rdx, after my first oil change a few weeks ago, feels a bit heavy on standing stops. then again, maybe im baby-ing it. (am not trying to use turbo from red lights as much a possible these days). it does run very smooth accelerating from 0 to 65mph and feels "solid" (not jerky).
or maybe ive been driving it more aggressively before this oil change and now, with new oil, am enjoying it more at a "smoother pace".
strangely enough too, the rdx engine feels as smooth as the glk after this oil change. (maybe im just imagining things but that's my recollection test driving these two vehicles at the beginning of the year - i obviously chose rdx for its more peppy/zippy performance). any thoughts?

+1 that's how I felt when I had 2010 loaner with under 1k miles in the odometer. If you don't press the pedal enough to get the turbo going the RDX seems like it takes a bit of time to launch. But once it gets going, man this thing is like a rocket!

I understand what you're saying. The engine "smoothes out" over time as it (computer) learns itself based on driving style, driving conditions, and mileage. It actually does smooth out.
And as another post said, good luck NOT using the turbo unless you want to drive like a grandma. Spool it up and enjoy!
