260 HP in April 2005 MotorTrend?
Hey guys, just got done reading the April issue of MotorTrend (it's the one with the new 3-series on the cover) and there was a little sidebar on page 22, has a pic of the RDX concept, looks like taken at the NAIAS...I'll quote it for ya:
"2007 Acura RD-X: If the MDX is a crossover for TL owners, this is the counterpart to the TSX and RSX. Based on the next-generation Honda CR-V, the RD-X launches next year with the RL's Super-Handling All-Wheel-Drive and a 260-horsepower, 2.2-liter turbocharged four making about 260 pound-feet. It'll be the first factory turbocharged Honda sold in the U.S.(except Indy racing cars), but not the last."
Now, I've been tooling around my home at the TSX forum and haven't really been over here in awhile, but is this new "news" to anyone. I know that we all speculated right after the NAIAS that there was a chance for a turbo, but all settled on either a V-6 or a K24A.
Someone back me up on this, becuase I've been around long enough to have seen people make this kind of stuff up just to get everyone's hopes up.
I went on motortrend.com and couldn't find the sidebar anywhere, but if someone could back me up that would be great for everyone.
Thanks guys
Quick edit: The title of the side bar is " Honda's Caddy Rival" The side-bar above it was all about the new Cadillac cross-over named the "BRX"

Has there been any confirmation on what the RD-X's engine is going to be? There was a lot of discussion taking place a while ago, but then it just died slowly and I noticed nobody's talking about this SUV anymore.
