2008 RDX - Heated Seats Low Setting Not Working
Hello all,
I want to introduce myself as a new member of the Acura community after buying a 2008 Acura RDX in December. Previously owned a 2004 and 2005 Cadillac CTS before this car.
Ever since I got the car, the high heated seats settings worked fine but I don't even get the slightest warmth from the low settings. The problem is in the driver and passenger seats. Anyone have an idea what this could be?
Thanks

Welcome!
I haven't noticed this problem. However, in flipping through the owners manual for the ILX (It's possible that the RDX seats work the same way- this is just a guess), I found out that the HI setting cycles on and off and the LO setting keeps the seat on whatever cycle setting the seat was on during HI. So, maybe just keep this in mind, put it on HI and switch to LO when you are happy with the temp?

The low setting is really low and Hi feels more like med, it about the same for my TSX. I think the driver seat has bottom/lumbar heater pads and the passenger seat only has a bottom heat pad. My MDX has low/med/hi seat heater settings and the Hi really gets hot. I sometimes have to turn on the cooled seat feature to cool my buns off a bit.

I also do not feel any heat when lo setting on my 2010 RDX. Manual says not to use hi setting for too long as it will drain battery quick. So I just put it on hi for briefly. Turn it off. Then Turn it on again if needed.
