Wheels/Tires Decisions Decisions Decisions

Ok, I am new to the NSX world and want to buy a new set of wheels and tires. I have looked over hundreds of wheels and read past threads on the subject and still am overwhelmed. I currently have 18/19 set up on my new NSX(new to me 2000). The car is black on black and currently has a machined face with black accent with web design and the wheels look great. The wheels have some damage and I need new tires anyway so I thought I would go with 17/18 set up to get a little more sidewall. I currently have 8" in front with 215/35/19 tires and 9.5"-10" on rear(have not measured but wide stance) I have narrowed it down to 2 choices Konig 16MB which has a deep lip look or the new concave series from Tenzo Type M version 2. Has anyone used either wheel? What is your opinion for the best look concave or wide lip? What is the best tire size to get the look but not have any rub problem? They suggested 215/40/17 and 255/35/18 any other suggestions? Would appreciate any feedback anyone may have.

First it would be nice to know what offsets you are looking at for the new wheel setup. I personally like the concave face on the NSX. You will always be best running a 215 up front for the NSX. As for the rear if you plan on running 9.5 I would go with a 265 and a 10" go with a 275. Your tire size will also play a big role if you are running an aggressive setup. The NSX performs much better with a 17/18 combo also. Are you lowered at all?

Thanks for the input. I am not lowered still at stock height. I have got mixed opinions on 17/18 or 18/19 set up. I like the look of the 18/19 set up I have now. I just think a little taller tire will give me a better ride and absorb some of the road shock. What are you running on your car?

I think classic cars should be stock classic.
Dudes are wheel nuts.
They just go around
and not important like women shoes.

problem with 18/19(IMHO) if your not lowered is it gives the NSX even more of a 4x4 look.
