My theory is that Honda purposely burned the car to the ground to give them an excuse to cancel/postpone the car yet again.

I doubt that...cars under developement have issues all the time. This is why they push the limits of performance and machine. Its to weed out potential problems. Imagine if this happened to a customer's car...then they would have to recall the entire fleet due to possible battery fire hazard.

Has anyone else noticed any differences from this model to the prototype released at the last auto-show? The rear end looks longer(probably for the longitude mounted engine vs the old set up in the previous NSX. The wheels. I do not think they are finished with the headlights. The side scoops seem more pronounced. The nose looks more agressive not as blunt as before.
