Interesting times in NSX Land.
Ever since my friend landed a super clean 91 5 speed for 20k USD a decade ago, I've casually watched the market for NSXs like the rest of you. Some day, some day...
I noticed today: The high end of the market for a low mileage NA2 is closely approaching parity with the lower end of the market for 2nd gen NSXs. I saw 2005 NSX-Ts in the ~150k CAD range, and 2017s in the ~170k range. |
It certainly makes me wish at times that I'd opted for a NSX in 2008 instead of the S2000 I loved for 8 years. I'm glad I'm now drinking the NSX Kool-Aid now, though.

Hindsight is always 20/20. There are always some great investment asset that we're missing out on (see Bitcoin 2009 to December 2017).
But investing in yourself with higher education usually is a safe bet as it can reap a lifetime of rewards. Best of luck in you achieving your goals! Also the market is hot right now because of the recent release of the new NSX. I reckon it should start to cool off a bit (though the limited number of the 1G NSX will likely mean that prices will probably never be as low as they were 10 years ago.....) |

I'm a high school shop teacher now, so access to cnc equipment and tools and two months off to build cars and do cash work to pay for them!
Indeed if one don't mind a bit of imperfection, there are certainly affordable project cars to be had that with some know-how and TLC can give a wonderful driving experience |
