I wonder if this primarily due to the cars getting wrecked or because the owners keep them in storage.

Interesting, so this is from a DMV-type of database. I initially thought it was regsitration to the NSXPrime forum....but looks like it's the closest number we have to road-legal/driven NSXs out of the total production numbers.

I'm surprised at the number of NSX owners on Prime who store them, don't drive them, and don't register them, to be honest. This car is made for driving, not just for looking at in a bubble. I met a guy at Cars and Coffee a week ago, who brought out his Ferrari. He owns a 1991 NSX with only 17k miles on it. He occasionally drives it, but not much. So sad. That's 680 miles a year.
