I forgot to mention that I also have the NSX-R Honda JDM Short gear set along with the 4.55RP, and I absolutely love the combo. Driving around town is more fun and spirited, as it keeps the car high enough in the lower end VTEC range, even during regular driving. For autocrossing, I end up having to shift gears less, since I'm able to keep the car in second gear for very sharp switchbacks, were some peeps have to drop down to first. Obviously, MPG suffers a bit, at the cost of about 1-2 MPG, and you lose a few MPH on the very top end, but I'm not too concerned with that.
One big thing, however, is that I wouldn't necessarily do the change if nothing else is being done, as the parts costs and the associated labor costs are rather high versus the actual performance gains. In my case, I went ahead and did the transmission update because I was already having work done to replace the clutch, so my labor to do the gearing work was free.

NSX Model: 1994 NSX
Color: Brooklands Green Pearl
Purchase Date: 2005
Current Miles: 75k
Modifcations:
Volk GT-C wheels
Wings West/Vinny's bodykit
Bilstein Shocks (on lowered perch)
Klight HID conversion
Dali SS exhaust
Science of Speed short shifter
K&N drop in air filter
XM radio
Definitely a Acura/Honda fan
I'll try to clarify this as best I can...
1991-1994 = "1st. gen.", NA1, pop up's w/ 3.0 liter V6 (hard top)
1995-1996 = "1st. gen.", NA1, pop up's w/ 3.0 liter V6 (Targa top)
1997-2001 = "1st. gen.", NA2, pop up's w/ 3.2 liter V6 (Targa top)
2002-2005 = "2nd. gen.", NA2, fixed HID's w/ 3.2 liter V6 (Targa top)
Note: There are some variances to this rule of thumb...but this is basically it in a nut shell.

Hello NSX-ers, I have a question for you guys. A customer wants to put straight pipes on his NSX which he is going to use for racing. Are there any aftermarket companies that make straight pipes for NSX?

Did you just put black Vinyl on the horizontal bar in the front of your car? It looks good.
