Installed my 97 accord fog light switch today, fits perfect and actually is on the right side on 97's, I told someone earlier that they were on the left, so 97's if you're wired on the right side of the console to a blank switch plate, that's your fog light wires

I've seen the heated seat switch for both seats goes in the left spot. Does your 3.0 already have that option? I haven't seen many 97's with heated seats.

Restored my headlight lenses today. Used the 3m kit. I'm very happy with the results.
Interesting note - two posters had pictures showing how their driver's side headlights were much less clear and more yellow than the passenger side. That was the same with my car too. I noticed during sanding that the passenger side produced much less dust during sanding and took much more work to get an even sanding done. It was as if the plastic on one side was a harder material. The fact that three different posters here have shown a difference between right and left headlights makes me wonder if they weren't sourced originally from either different manufacturers - although that makes no sense.
Now I've got to install those HIDs that have been lying around here for months.

Found and fixed the clanking sound that was keeping me from driving the car, it was a loose bolt on the pillow mount on my Tein SS-P that got loosened when I had my axle replaced and was making a rattling noise whenever I hit a bump. I also removed the mud flaps and charged the optima up, and as soon as I get the full coverage insurance back on, and fix the license plate brackets, I will be taking her out on the road for her first drive since October or so. About 2-3 days of work and I will be driving her every day to work

installed my new HID ballast today, and the new plate LEDs last night. they're brighter and more 6000k-ish, but the piss colored plates still make them look more like halogen
next on the list is doing the gauges (for the 3rd time). the 74 bulb in the 80mph region is flickering, so i ordered a new one. also, the 74s i have for up top are disappointing, so im just gonna put the halogens back in. they illuminated more, and i could actually see the needles at night.

Like soccer balls... Lol.
I removed my resonator box today. Fairly simple. Still haven't driven it, but I hope it sounds as good as people say, and better yet, not as much hot air will shoot into the engine.
I still needa get a CAI, but my moneys going towards the drop first.

Wait why would u want to uninsure it? You wouldn't be able to drive it again. Why no full throttle?

If you aint driving it, don't pay for the full coverage, that's what I've discovered, all it takes is a phone call and it's right back on. I had a new ins card today within 10 mins

Thanks Matt I figure the best way to sell a car is to not really care if you sell it or not. That way, you'll either be happy when you finally get what you ask for, or you'll be happy keeping it. Either way, you win.
Another good tip I learned from the few months that I've had my CLohie for sale is that when the buyer tries to throw that $3,300 KBB value at you, I always chuckle and say "Hah, a book that's supposed to tell you how much your car is worh huh? One price doesn't fit all in my books and she's worth to me much more than that. I'm in no hurry to sell so it's up to you if you want to agree to my asking price."
I'll eventualy get someone that will agree to my $3,800 asking pirce. I mean, I did buy it for $3,000 three years ago and she is a '97 with torn boots and 133k miles. That's more than fair to me.
But I'm in no rush. Already decided on a car. It's all about planning.

Haha we both know I can't do that.
I wanted a Prelude for the longest time but it just didn't feel like a sports car to me. I know if I go for a full sports car the ride will be pretty rough and such (compared to a luxioury coupe like the CL) but idk. Guess it's just a phase.
I'll give a hint like ZeroCL tho...
It's not Honda/Acura..

Was all set to drive the CL to work, but it's gonna rain for afternoon rush hour, not the way I wanted to start out driving her, so I took the 4runner

And yeah, no book can measure the blood, sweat and tears that most of us have put into our cars.
Haha we both know I can't do that.

As for what I did to the car, I pulled it out of the garage and back onto the side of the house. Half of the interior is still in the garage and there is no more stereo in the Acura. I'm done with competition stereo stuff for awhile, so the CL's going back to stock, basically.

Looking like it's going to rain, but oh well, the car is waxed, and it hasn't seen rain in 3-4 years
I will take pics for you guys, I didn't take a before of the odometer, but I had to drive like 25 miles to work, so I'll take a pic in the parking lot next to my boss's TT
