We already discussed that since he decided to get the same motor as me. The conclusion is that he'd lose. But he'd look wayyyyy better than me doing it lol. I ran Shaun's CL last night too btw Kumar, after picking up my muffler.

the work he is going to do will take longer than a day
that means $300 is too little for more than 8 hours worth of work
he might know how to do it but i doubt he knows how much work there is involving a H swap

blazin whats good man... i figured out the problem with the mounts... so is all good... which car are you using the mounts on?

wine: for labor costs/estimates, ask infamous...im guessing its $800+, there is alot of work involved. and $300 for the swap, no way your getting that motor in. I didnt do the labor, my wife's brother owns a shop so he took care of it.. thats where my car is at for the past year or so.. it was suppose to come out boosted, but the plans got pushed back for next year.

arber: ill keep you posted on the tranny situation...since next year im also going turbo

I have them in my Civic and thought I was given the wrong drivers side mount. Figured out that since they were so stiff, it just made it really hard to twist the motor for the holes to line up.

Which set did you get? I have the Race Mounts and they shake the hell out of my car. Everything rattles, but the car feels solid at wide open throttle.

whats the lowest offset we can go on our cars? For stock/rolled fenders that is, not widebody.

Well i dont really see there being an exact number. It all really matters how much work your willing to do to make them fit. Also the width, suspension, and tire size can all make a difference when your working with MM's of clearance.

but from what research ive done, i think its about +28 F, and +20 rear. thats a rough guess.

for instance flip is hairs away from clearing with 18x9 et7.

I really thought about going with a slight higher offset, like 30, and trying to get a 10 in wheel in the back.

but yea, i got a price on the vs-xx.. 2600 without tires.. theres a couple of companies im looking at, DPE (my original choice), IForge, Works/Volks

Our stock rads aren't bad though from my understanding they're all aluminum. Acura used KOYO rads stock in our cars IIRC.
