Transmission slip?, abs light, car won't start
If anyone could help, it'd be greatly appreciated.
Right before getting home, I was stopped at a light and when I accelerated, the transmission slipped going into 2nd i think. (I usually try to keep it under 2500rpm and then i guess it slipped and i revved to 4000rpm.) I let off the gas a bit and it worked again but not smoothly. Then the ABS light came on. While parking, I noticed the tach went down to 0 while in D. I turned off the car and tried to start it again. It wouldn't start but it would click and with every click, the lights on the dash would flicker. So... am I screwed?

does anybody know anything about an alternator repair kit? they have it at partsamerica.com. I'm not too enthusiastic about dropping 150 for a new alternator.

ENGAGE MY VTEC BABY!!!!!!
dont do the alt. repait kit
i bought a new one you can have them rebuilt but its not recommended
i would invest in the alternator, but you can have them rebuilt at a local rebuild shop for about 60-75 bucks
buying a new one you get a warrenty and the insurrance that its new and wont fuck up, your depending on the guy to rebuild it right
dont try to do it yourself leave it to a professional
