Timing Belt Water Pump Kit 97 2.2 F22B1 Recommendations
It's about time I change my timing belt and water pump. Has anyone had any luck with eBay kits or can recommend a good brand? I called advanced auto parts and their kit was about $120.00.
My car has never been able to rev past 5k rpm while in gear. I heard this could be due to the timing belt being one tooth off. I need to change the belt anyway and will investigate when I get to it.
Any special tools I need? I already have the crank pulley tool. Is there anything else I should change while I am in there?
Thanks

I have owned many hondas and I have always used OEM parts. If you guys on the forum have found aftermarket parts that are cheaper and just as good I'd love to know brands and P/N.
My view is that it's a job that takes time, access is tiny, I bang up my hands, and I have to do it on a cold driveway. I want to do it once and I don't want to take a chance on an off brand water pump that will leak in 6 months.
