timing belt change- but do i need the balancer belt done?

all, i am investigating this and getting mixed answers from seaching....

i have scheduled to get my timing belt, timing belt tensioner, water pump, accessory belts, and radiator changed out on Thursday from my local mechanic. I bought a timing belt kit, but it only came with the timing belt and timing belt tensioner. I am just now looking in the owners manual and it says i need to change out the balancer belt for 4 cyl engine...why is this the first time i am seeing anything about the balancer belt? my mechanic didnt say anything about it...he is replacing some of the other belts but i don't remember him saying anything about the balancer belt?

by the way...is this a good price?
$330 install for the timing belt, water pump, and belts
$110 for new radiator (mine was leaking)
$120 labor for install of radiator
$60 cost for belts

please help!

or you could leave the balancer belt off, save money and go faster. if the motor vibrates too much put a poly insert on the front motor mount.

Yeah balancer belt just eliminates some harsh vibrations since large I-4's are generally not a balanced design like an I-6 for example.
