There is a hole in my Cold Air intake.

There is a hole in my Cold Air intake.
After checking out the cold air intake today I find out that it has a whole in it. As the pipe rest on the opening of the resevoir it has cut the pipe open.

I have duct-tape the pipe for a temporary fix and immediately noticed hp gains. lol.

Will this fix work? Or is it time for a new cold air intake ?

Umm at least JB weld it if you're not going to replace it. Although I'd recommend replacement

I felt a lack of power. That is why I checked to see what the problem was. It turned out I had a hole in the intake pipe.
